I do not and never will consider myself a 'poet'. My poetry only runs as a 'spur of the moment' rant about detail in my own understanding. Of course, I do my best with being creative about things, though I never did qualify as a genius in the poetry department. I'm no Sylvia Plath. I only write free verse. I hate extended metaphors. I hate describing visual appeal. Most of my poems depict some sort of "story" within them - a story which is mainly based on a life situation - with a few little splices to mix it up. I'll try real honesty here: I'm not a poet, but I'm not a bad poet either.
