UPDATES a little information
All poetry will open up in a NEW window. Pop-ups are a bitch but I tend to get all Nazi about protecting my work, even though I may not be a cunning as Hitler. I still try.

an introduction
Because the friendship between myself and the boy from 2002 continued to shift with every month that passed, my own emotions continued to change, and thus so did my poetry. 2004 was when I started to add more structure to my work. It was also when I started to use symbolism and vivid imagery to my stanzas instead of just writing about my feelings or the things that I had seen. After feeling the way that I did about him for so long, it came about the time when I wanted it to stop. Even still, I started to write what would be some of my best poetry. In the early summer, I wrote "Sitting Ducks", a bluntly honest realization that our relationship was never going to go anywhere. It was published in a Canadian youth poetry anthology the following May.
